Time for Round 3 of the Filmstalker's Film Club where the Filmstalker Readers join in on discussions of films past and present. Each month the next member of the club chooses three films, connected in some way, for the other members to vote on. The winner is the film we all watch and then a few weeks later get together to talk about live, online.

Round 3 is the final choice from myself before we start going round the other members. If you're interested in joining in then get hold of me on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/Filmstalkers), Twitter (Filmstalker), or any other way you can. You don't have to join the audio, you could even email in comments and questions for us to bring up on the audio, or maybe just give us the three films to choose from, so get in touch and get involved.

It's the Filmstalker's Film Club once again, still in the infancy, we're merely on Round 2, but I'm learning as we go and there are a few tweaks and additions from the first.

Filmstalker's Film Club is where you, the Filmstalker Readers, can join in on discussions of films past and present. Each month the next member of the club chooses three films, connected in some way, for the other members to vote on. The winner is the film we all watch and then a few weeks later get together to talk about live, online.

In Round 2 we're still sitting on my choices, I'm doing a few rounds to get us all into the swing before we start circulating around the others, and in this one I've gone for three cheesy films from my youth that I loved, and the winner was a bit of a surprise for everyone. Listen to myself, Steven and Mark debating the highs and lows of this film, and see if you can guess what it is from the opening music.

If you're interested in joining in, talk to me on Twitter (Filmstalker), Plurk (Filmstalker) or Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/Filmstalkers), head to the site for the Filmstalker Film Club articles, or sign up to Filmstalker Readers (http://www.filmstalker.co.uk/readers).

Welcome to the first round of Filmstalker's Film Club. This is where you, the Filmstalker Readers, can join in reviews and discussion of films past and present.

Each month we get together and the next member of the club chooses three films, connected in some way, for the other members to vote on. The winner is the one we all get hold of, watch and then a few weeks later get together to talk about live, online.

This is the first episode, and is evolving, so bear with us. As time goes on the episodes will change and improve, and hopefully we'll gain more members.

For now though we're going to start off with myself, Steven and Mark who are chatting about a film that's very dear to my heart, an eighties action classic.

It's taken a long time to get here and not much time to get through, the Filmstalker roundup of the films from the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2009 with special guests Stuart Wood, from Cinemablend, and Jonathan Melville from itsonitsgone, is now officially at an end.

There's just a few emotionally charged closing words, and we're off.

We do hope you enjoyed it, and there are plans for plenty more audiocasts from Filmstalker, as well as Stuart and Jonathan, as soon as possible.

See you on Filmstalker in the meantime, and thanks for listening.
